ADVISORY SERVICE

To provide the membership with an effective and responsive advisory service addressing:

* service start-up and development
* continuous improvement of all services
* future planning *
problem solving resources and funding issues

Actions

Increase advisory capacity in line with services provided by members; develop a regional advisory structure; create a membership mentoring programme; develop IT capabilities to support advisory service; develop local/regional 'expert' panels to support advice services

INFORMATION SERVICE

To provide a comprehensive information service on quality full day care for children covering member nurseries, guidance on choosing a childcare service, careers in childcare, quality standards and regulations, developments and trends in childcare policy.
